Game Feast Dinner & Dance
Saturday, 17th March 2007
St. Patrick’s Day at Corick House saw Flavour
of Tyrone Good Food Circle and the Augher and Clogher Clay Pigeon
Club join with Corick House to host a gourmet night of dining
and dancing for the enjoyment of the many guests who attended.
The Game Feast Dinner Dance enabled guests to be
royally fed with a carvery style buffet of such delicacies as
Pigeon, Pheasant, Duck, Venison, Rabbit and Game Pie. Our professional
chefs prepared a menu of subtle flavours and textures which are
associated with true game and appeal to the tastebuds of the connoisseur.
Judging by the satisfied faces of the guests after the meal they
all savoured these flavours and thoroughly approved. Hopefully
game will be on the menu in a few more home kitchens from now
on.
During the evening The Corick House Cup was awarded
to members of the Augher and Clogher Clay Pigeon Club by the proprietor
of Corick House, Mrs Jean Beacom. The competition will be competed
for on a yearly basis. This year the cup was won in an exciting
match by Toby Hackett, second place to Noble Patterson and third
to Andrew Beacom.
This enjoyable evening was rounded off with dancing
in the Garden Room to the sounds of a live band Rumours and guests
were able to “trip the light fantastic” around the
floor with great gusto.
